The Piedmont Film Club is proud to present The Social Dilemma with Community Discussion to follow at The Space at Grace in The Plains. While the film came out in 2020, it remains very important in understanding social media and its effect on society.
A community discussion after the film will be led by Amrit Daryanani,
Director of Wellness and Student Services at Wakefield School and
Carolyn Hersh, Licensed Professional Counselor.
Donations to the Piedmont Film Club are suggested through eventbrite
or at the door.
RSVPS are appreciated for planning purposes, but not required at
Several members of the community joined together and committed to creating an event that would bring people together for specifically chosen films, respectful discussion, and comradery. Born from the success of the annual Middleburg Documentary Film Festival, the Piedmont Film Club will meet once a month, generally on the third Thursday of each month, to show a movie selected to have an impact. A community discussion will follow.
Films will be shown at Grace Church in The Plains. We will meet at "The Space at Grace", inside the Parish Hall, and
we thank Grace for welcoming us.
